Meet the Fine Art Core Team
Amish Thakkar : More than fifteen years of wedding photography experience, and the force behind Fine Art Productions, he is the man whose vision drives the company. In a short span of Five years in the US, he has completely transformed
the face of the South Asian Wedding photography. In came professionalism and creativity and out went ‘freelancers', who moonlighted as
Photographers and Videographers. Amish is respected as much for his creative eye as for his client and community relationships. Amish was also instrumental in establishing the Asian American Association of Wedding Professionals (AAAWP), making peers out of competition. Thanks to him, today, all members work as teams instead of against each other. |
Chirali Thakkar : The youngest, the most vibrant and definitely the most hard-working South Asian woman photographer in the US, Chirali is a familiar face to all those who walk in through Fine Art's doors. She brings the sensitivity of a woman into photography as well as in her client's lives, helping brides coordinate their wedding schedules and important moments, to ensure that not a single ‘classic' moment is lost to the camera. The clients love her, both for her warm personality as well as her fabulous work! |
Raghu Thakkar : More seen than heard, Raghu is the face behind Fine Art's videography division. He puts pictures into motion, to create an eternal love story. So whether it is a ‘how-did-we-meet?' story or the ‘wedding story, Raghu ensures that the motion picture says it all. Raghu is also the man behind Fine Art's extremely expensive HDV (High-Definition Video) equipment – bought to ensure that your ‘motion' pictures are always told in high definition! |
Gopal Shah : One of India's finest cinematographers and the head of Fine Art's film division, Gopal is the vision, the passion and the reality behind Fine Art's upcoming Film projects. With decades of experience working on feature films, documentaries, and big-budget films, Gopal is in some ways Amish's ‘guru', having taught him the one thing that is so difficult to learn – the ‘artistic eye'! |
Ramesh Thakkar : The founder and President of The Vadodara Photographers Association, Ramesh Thakkar (or Rameshji as he is fondly called) has been a photographer since the age of dark rooms and black & white cameras. His passion for photography has become the stuff of folklore, so much so that he could not be present for his daughter Chirali’s birth, as he was away, shooting a wedding! A man known for his kindness, he always believed that no matter how small a customer, he should always be treated with as much respect and honor as a big customer. It is the guiding principle for Fine Art Productions, even today! |
